Sumit spent 26 years working for HSBC, in countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, USA, Hong Kong and India. Most recently, Sumit was the Country Manager and CEO for HSBC Indonesia from 2014-2019. Prior to Indonesia, Sumit was CEO for HSBC Vietnam, and also worked as Executive Director of Techcombank (back then affiliated with HSBC). Prior to Vietnam, Sumit worked for HSBC in New York, US, Hong Kong and India across various roles.
