Susana holds a degree in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana and has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors in senior roles. She specialises in public and institutional relations and has led programmes that support exports, competitiveness and business growth abroad. She completed the Senior Management Programme at IPADE and a specialisation in European Integration Studies at ITAM. She is now Director General of COMCE, where she leads work to promote trade, support Mexican companies going global, and attract investment to Mexico. She has also held senior roles at the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry, ToJoy, INADEM, ProMéxico and NAFINSA. She was recognised in 2021 in the book 'Outstanding Women of the 21st Century' and has contributed to national standards on attracting foreign investment.
