Mindy Simon , Co-director, NHS Innovation Accelerator

Mindy is Co-director of the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), overseeing programme delivery and providing strategic guidance to innovators. She joined UCLPartners in 2013 and the NIA team in 2017. With experience across health and life sciences, she has held senior roles in healthcare and higher education, including at the University of Oxford and King's College, London. Her expertise spans governance, operational leadership, infrastructure development and cross-sector collaboration. Mindy is passionate about breaking down barriers to health innovation and supporting innovators working with the NHS. She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Communication and a qualifying Law Masters.

Dr Jennifer Hill , Innovation Lead, NHS England

Jennifer Hill is Innovation Lead at NHS England, heading the NHS Innovation Service (innovation.nhs.uk), a free national platform connecting innovators to expert health system support. The service links users to organisations like NICE, MHRA, NHS Supply Chain, and the Health Innovation Network to accelerate development and adoption of innovations that improve patient outcomes and system efficiency. Jennifer has experience in clinical guideline development and health system improvement. She previously led development of numerous NICE guidelines at the Royal College of Physicians and Royal College of Surgeons, contributing to evidence-based care at a national level. With a history of fostering collaboration among clinical, academic, and policy groups, Jennifer works to ensure the NHS remains a leader in healthcare innovation.
